Orthodontic treatment with lingual braces

The next appointment includes a cephalometric X-ray and a dental impression, based on which we can design the orthodontic appliance. The appliance is fitted during the third visit. For fixed braces, an additional visit is required, during which a second appliance is attached. This helps reduce the discomfort associated with fitting the appliance. The patient receives detailed information on oral hygiene methods and a proper diet. Follow-up visits are also necessary. During treatment with fixed braces, these visits occur every 4-7 weeks, and with self-ligating braces, every 6-8 weeks.
